Is there any stormwater pond capacity near my project site?

To assess whether stormwater capacity is available at nearby ponds, an applicant's engineer would need to do the following:

• The City's internal GIS includes a layer for stormwater operating permits. The applicant should call a member of our engineering staff at 850-891-7001, option 4, to obtain any applicable stormwater operating permit number.
• The applicant's engineer should assess whether the operating permits drain to the pond in question.
• For those operating permits that do drain to the pond in question, the applicant's engineer should request the pond operating permit through our Records Management staff (scroll down to the blue bar labeled "Online Records Requests").
• The applicant's engineer can determine if the proposed project has stormwater capacity available at a particular pond by tabulating the capacity consumed by existing operating permits.
