Can I rezone my property?
Rezoning applications are reviewed by the joint City/County Planning Department. Please call the Planning Department staff at 850-891-6400 to discuss your application. Please keep in mind that one of the threshold issues is that any potential rezoning application must remain consistent with the Comprehensive Plan's Future Land Use Map designation. In other words, if you want to rezone your property from a residential zoning designation to a commercial zoning designation, the Future Land Use Map designation must already be commercial.
