Does an approved Natural Features Inventory expire?

Sec. 5-54(e), TLDC, notes that approved Natural Features Inventories run with the land regardless of ownership. However, if an application for a site plan, subdivision, or environmental management permit is not submitted within 36 months after the approval of a natural features inventory, the natural features inventory shall automatically expire. An application for recertification of the expired natural features inventory may be submitted within 24 months of expiration by the present owner or a properly designated agent of the owner. If recertification is approved, the natural features inventory shall be extended for an additional 36 months.
